Marvin Towler’s journey into the world of kitchen design began with a deep-rooted family background in construction. A ditch digger’s son, Marvin chose a different path, leaving behind a potential career in masonry to pursue architecture. At 21, he was mentored by one of New Jersey’s leading architects, Samuel P. Abate, whose words would resonate throughout Marvin’s career: “I think you have potential… I’ll teach you how to draw. And after you learn how to draw… you will make me money.” After enrolling at the Samuel P. Abate School of Architecture, Marvin’s passion for the art and science of design blossomed over the next 40+ years, during which he designed thousands of homes, kitchens, bathrooms, and remodels in every town in Monmouth County. Marvin’s philosophy: kitchen design is not just about aesthetics but also about functional solutions that bring dreams to life.
Marvin specializes in working with residential homebuilders, contractors, architects, and interior designers who seek to deliver high-quality, efficient, and beautiful kitchen spaces. Unlike large retailers like Home Depot or Lowe’s, Marvin takes a comprehensive approach, addressing the complexities of plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems alongside cabinetry design. He is also the author of the forthcoming book "Plan The Perfect Kitchen," offering expert insights on designing custom cabinetry and kitchen interiors. With over 30 years of architectural and building experience, Marvin is committed to delivering personalized solutions that transform kitchens into works of art while keeping the functionality and comfort of the space top of mind.
